Introductions
[[Private, hackable to people who know Ryuusei]]
That Date kid must be kind of an oddball to turn into a Zonder like that. Hope he's not gonna compete with me if a new mech arrives on base... I'll have to put him in a wrist lock until he gives it up!
[[/private]]
So I met a few of you when I first arrived on base, and a few more of you when I went on my first mission, but Ingram said that I needed a proper introduction to you guys, so here I am. As long as you guys don't get too out of line and don't try to mess with me I think this is gonna work out pretty well.
My first mission with the EDF was great since I got to shoot down a bunch of Aerogator bugs, even if the big boss was some sort of special deal for the giant carpenter or whatever he was, with that kid stuck inside of it. I've read a few reports, but if anyone can give a better idea of what the hell all that was I'd appreciate it.
- Rookies and Newbies: Mao's got a lot of the trouble cases and I don't have a schedule yet, but I'm going to drag you into the simulators one way or another. If anyone wants it come and get it.
[[Filtered to Melissa Mao]]Melissa, send a few kids my way![[/filter]]
[[Filtered to Viral]] I don't know how much experience you have but I'll take you on with mechs or hand to hand or whatever any time, so come get some![[/filter]]
- Fellow Pilots: I've been piloting my Gespenst for a while, and as nice as it was when I got it, and as good as its been to me, it's also getting pretty damned old. I know you've got all your fancy custom units that you're assigned to, and Ingram said he's not reassigning anyone right now, but the brass be damned if any of you wuss out and can't handle your mechs, give them to me. Pronto. Or I'll be taking them.
- Anyone else who drinks: I'm totally new to Tokyo, and I know some of you have been here for a while, so I know you have to have found a good bar or two. Anyone who can match my schedule for a day off should show me around and we can go get a few drinks. "A few" being pretty damned relative. Thanks in advance.

One's a little punk, the other doesn't know what's she's doing, both could use a lot of work.
Also, I am always down for drinks.

Ryusei's...unique. He's always been incredibly passionate about robots, real and fictional, and that thing that had him must have picked up on that. Deep down, he's a really heroic, compassionate guy and a good friend...it's just that everything above that deep-down is an oblivious robot fanatic.
And I don't think you have to worry. Ryusei's pretty devoted to his R-1.

Um...if you'd like to pilot the Type 2 sometime, I wouldn't mind...but Major Ingram says that only certain people can activate the T-Link System, and that's pretty important. Nothing to do with skill
obviously, just something you randomly have.(no subject)

And most of it isn't good...Anyway, I guess you could consider me new, but I've definitely been getting better. Done a few rounds in the simulator. Up for a round later to break the ice, maybe?
