Damn... ya know, today's bad enough for me already... but then Viral being a dick... so many of my men during the DC War, gone, and then Kira and Shiro at the same time... and a bunch of people on base doing badly because of it. It's just too damn much sometimes. Like one day the universe just decided to hate me-no, not just me, everyone here.

People are plenty confident that Kira and Shiro might be okay, but I've seen guys like them, and a guy can only almost die so many times before his luck runs out, and this time people saw both mechs getting totaled. Kira, Kusuha, Shinji... all these kids who just shouldn't be here and are for the stupidest reasons, and I can't do a damn thing about it.

What am I even doing here? All I do is brag and yell at people, and it's not like I've been anything special in battle. All these kids with crazy powers and mechs are gonna end up having to protect me at this rate, and I don't want any of them getting hurt for something like that.

I'm not leaving... yet... but I've gotta do something about this. Ingram... how much of this is his fault? I don't even want to count how many laws he's broken
