Signum and Vita had been fighting these things since before Simon had been broken out, but neither mage showed signs of slowing down. Signum, for her part, sized up another single Mugann for attack before charging directly at it with a yell.

To the untrained eye, it simply seemed like the Mugann disappeared as Signum charged through it. In actuality, she formed a small barrier around the Mugann as she charged at it, flying around and hacking at all angles to overwhelm its barrier before slicing directly through it and out the other side of the barrier, containing all of the Mugann's explosive remains in a safe pocket dimension.
