Alright everyone! Just because Sgt. Major Mao is gonna be laid up in the infirmary for a while doesn't mean that all you punks she was dealing with get a break! Kamille Bidan, Coop Cooplowski, Shinji Ikari, Riki Makishi, Kusuha Mizuha, Garrod Ran, Akito Tenkawa, and Kira Yamato, you'll all report to the gym at 0530 just like you have been! Any of you punks try to get away and I'll deal with you myself! Don't show up late and don't complain!

Oh, and be ready for the sims after we're done. I want to see what Dingo Egret has taught all of you.

*The very next morning, Katina arrived outside the gym at 0510 in sweatpants and tank top, with arms crossed and a sour expression. Off to the side was some sort of small truck, it's bed full of something the poor fools wouldn't recognize unless they looked in.*

Ah, it's you! I didn't see the training reminder until I woke up today. So Mao's in the infirmary? Thank god, I finally get a break from all those push-ups. I hope she's alright. I should see her later.

Eh, no harm. Garrod and Akito haven't shown up and it's nice to have at least one person here, no matter for how long. If we only have three hours to work with, then we'll just work to make sure they're worth it.

Just a few minutes?! Tell me, Shinji Ikari, what would happen if you were "just a few minutes late" providing essential support fire to the rest of your team on the field?! Or how about "just a few minutes late" providing first aid to your teammate who has just had his knee shot out by a .50 caliber bullet?!

"Just a few minutes late" is the same as "Just a few minutes DEAD", Ikari!
